From Paul's Desk: continue reading to see photos!
Wow, what a great 3 days at the Foreclosure King Bootcamp May 18th-20th in Golden, Colorado!! All the comments I got back in our post boot camp survey were nothing but positive.

Students with Paul at the Colorado Rockies baseball game!
I think the part of the Bootcamp that was the most beneficial to my students was the intimacy of the Foreclosure Bootcamp. I only allow 48 people at my bootcamps and what that does is allow tons of interaction and questions and answers with the students. For the student that is new to foreclosures and short sales this is an integral part of the learning process.

It's a great facility here in Golden
It is important that you, the student, get everything that you need to jumpstart your business. We started on Thursday with a full day of MARKETING covering in depth 6 different ways to market your business. We covered my unique 'MORTGAGE BROKERS NETWORK, website and use of the internet, direct mail, signs, door knocking, and leave behinds. To me this is the most important part of your business because without marketing and getting homeowners to work with you your business is non-existent. So day 1 was critical to my student’s success.
The 2nd day we covered "EVERYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH THE HOUSE". That included, but was not limited to, evaluating a house and negotiating with the homeowner. Once you get your marketing in order this is the next step in becoming wealthy in real estate. We started the day on a walking tour around the Golden event site where there were some houses that were great candidates to look at and evaluate. The tour lasted almost an hour and 1/2 and everyone said this was a critical component to the Bootcamp. We will do this again but with even more about the home inspection and repair. Once back in the class room it was all about negotiation with the homeowner. From how to approach them to pre-framing the homeowner to deed you the house, which is critical, to what to say to get a good price for you so you can make a good profit. Knowing what to say and how it say it is a big part of your success and I covered that in detail on day 2. Some of the students said this was the most beneficial part of the 3 day training.

We had a great time on my deck in Colorado on Saturday
The last day was the most hands on day of training for the students. When I started the business of buying foreclosed homes I had to learn to fill out the forms myself. So what I did was develop part of training conducting a forms filling class. All the students got hands outs and I had overheads of the forms and we filled them out line by line and was answering questions all the way through. We did that in the first 3 hours on Saturday.
The last part of the training on Saturday was all about SHORT SALES and how to work with the bank in order to get the BIG DEALS. Knowing how to work with the banks, how to put together a short sale package, and what to do to get the deal you want is what we covered. I brought copies of my packages in for the students to go over and get an idea of what a good short sale package looks like.
I'll be conducting another boot camp this summer. Stay tuned for details about how you can join this exclusive group of investors and super-charge your real estate business.
